Your County Councillor: Dr. Misfar Hassan

I am Dr. Misfar Hassan and have lived in Burnley since 2003. I am married with three children, attending Sir John Thursby Community College and Clitheroe Grammar Sixth form.  I work with families and young persons with behaviour and relationship difficulties. In this capacity I am involved in working with education, social services, police and other services. I am well aware of the difficulties families come across in dealing with these services.

I am Labour Party Councillor for the Lancashire County Council for Burnley East. I want to stand up for the people of Burnley.

Hospital services are a major issue for the people of Burnley.  I will stand for providing best possible hospital services to the people of Burnley.

For the elderly to have dignified care I will work to the best of my capabilities to provide excellent facilities for elderly to have dignified care in Burnley.

Antisocial behaviour is a major issue for many people I will work with communities to tackle the issue as a top priority.

Education and Social Services are major services provided by the County Council and I will fight to ensure these services are provided to an acceptable standard to the people of Burnley.

I will campaign for more police on the beat for a safer streets and neighbourhoods in Burnley.

We need a strong labour voice in Tory controlled County Council for better facilities and services for the people of Burnley.
