“Stop Lib Dem Cuts!”

We are calling on Gordon Birtwistle to stop the cuts his Lib Dem-Con coalition is making in Burnley. So far his administration of Burnley Borough Council has made a number of cuts to vital town services, which we thought that Burnley residents should be made aware of:

• Lib Dems cut the Town Centre Manager, a vital service for local traders.
  

• Lib Dems cut funding to the Citizens
  

• Advice Bureau
  

• Lib Dems made cuts to the Council's regeneration unit, costing Burnley jobs
  

• Lib Dems cut the Elevate Relocation grant and changed it to a loan
  

• Lib Dems failed to fund the landlord licencing scheme
  

• Lib Dems halved the number of dog wardens
  

• Lib Dems tried to Freeze Parish Council grants
  

• Gordon Birtwistle was Burnley's representative on the committee that could have prevented cuts to Burnley's A&E department, but he didn't bother to turn up to the meetings
